The Hills of Pan made the decision in the winter of 2005 to add Icelandic Sheepdogs to the farm. This decision was based on our desire to include a working breed of dog to our operation that could be utilized to assist in moving the sheep. We have been thrilled with the "huge heart" disposition of this breed. Here on the farm, we raise a variety of barnyard animals, of which many have free roam of the property. Taking this into consideration, along with the presence of a toddler child, a good disposition in our animals is paramount. We at The Hills of Pan have become so enchanted with the breed, that we have reached the decision that our future plans are to offer a small number of carefully bred Icelandic Sheepdogs puppies to our shepherding clients. As we watch the progress of our starting pups, they will be evaluated for breeding potential. After their evaluation period, suitable breeding arrangements will be made. Please check back for their progress and watch for new additions to our breeding family.
